Therapy with Alex Gomez, Psy.D., LMHC, is a space to slow down and listen—to what’s being said, what’s being felt, and what’s been kept quiet for too long. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational traditions, but guided most of all by curiosity and care.
Together, we’ll explore how your experiences have shaped the way you see yourself and others—how you protect, adapt, and reach for connection. At times, our work might focus on your inner world: the different “parts” of you that hold competing feelings or stories. At other times, it might center on what happens between us—where patterns come alive in real time.
You can expect therapy to be thoughtful, warm, and collaborative. I’m not here to diagnose you from afar, but to help you feel more at home in your own mind—to understand what drives your pain, your defenses, and your hopes, and to find a more spontaneous, reflective way of being in the world.
